The Church of God in Christ, Inc. is the largest Holiness-Pentecostal denomination in the world. Founded in 1897 and incorporated in Memphis, Tennessee in 1907, the Pentecostal Movement, through the COGIC, has birthed over 8,000,000+ members worldwide; with churches on every Continent and 15,000+ International congregations.
Since the inception of the COGIC, through the Founding Prelate, Bishop Charles Harrison Mason, in the 19th Century, the Church Proper has devolved through the years; from a Church that was a strong model of Piety, Righteousness and Holiness, into a Church that has fallen straightaway into the dark and dismal abyss of age-old Ecumenicism.
